For the past five years, the people of the Yakima Valley have been asking for an organization that champions healthy relationships, for marriages, for parents, and for future generations.

Today Healthy Families Yakima exists to do that work for our community through outreach and education. Together we will see our area turn the tide against family breakdown, reducing the number of divorces and the results of marital conflict.

We can all work together to see countless couples, families, and children saved from the pain and heartache of a difficult home, creating a safer and healthier community for all our children to live and thrive.

But we can’t do it alone… we need your help!

Financial Partnership

Through Healthy Families Yakima, the stage is set to see a dramatic increase in marital success, enhancing families through training and workshops. We have already begun working to improve relationships throughout the Yakima Valley by receiving and implementing a federal research endorsement in 2006. This research provides a two-for-one dollar match on any contribution we receive to implement our work through 2011.

This literally means that for every dollar you contribute, you will be activating two additional dollars to apply towards Healthy Families Yakima for local programs here in the Yakima Valley.
